Ms. Tina Kammerer was born and raised in North Plainfield, NJ and attended college at
Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and
Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ where she recieved a BFA/BM in Musical Theater. Ms. Kammerer is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Music Education as well as a Masters in Business Administration. She is also pursuing becoming a professional member of both the MTNA and MTAC.
Through her training, she has been involved in several musical theater productions including: Into the Woods,
Parade the Musical, Cabaret, How to Succeed in Business,
Sweeney Todd, The Consul and several student written and performed dramas. Ms. Kammerer also sang in several choral groups including symphonic choir, Jazz choir, and Chamber Singers, with whom she travelled to Eastern Europe touring several traditional church and
theater settings. Ms. Kammerer has taught professionally
for 4 years both in NJ and CA as a choreographer in NJ for
NPHS's performance of Bye Bye Birdie, musical theater inctructor,music pups instructor (ages 18mo.-3yrs.), piano and vocal group and private class instructor, and as vocal Music Director to SRO Productions for their '07-'08 season production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.
Music is not just a job for Ms. Kammerer...it's a passion.
She contiually strives to encourage and motivate her students to explore their individual talents and abilities to their fullest. Music is a very natural and emotional way for anyone to truly express their soul. It is JAK Studios' goal to help others find that connection and experience music at its full potential.
